Japanese chef Masaki Sugisaki was born in Saitama city, not far from Tokyo, but spent his childhood in Ashikaga, a city two hours from the capital. Masaki started out in his family's traditional kaiseki restaurant in Japan. Since then, he has had stints at Nobu Berkeley Street and Dinings Harcourt in Marylebone before moving over to Dinings SW3 in Chelsea, where he is now executive chef.
