About Le Manoir

This year marks the 40th anniversary of Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons, A Belmond Hotel. Nestled in the idyllic Oxfordshire countryside, Le Manoir is the perfect place to retreat to enjoy gastronomy, gardens and the warmest welcome. As guests walk through the gates, they enter a magical place where food, and the growing of that food, is at the heart of everything.

Enjoy a Michelin-starred dinner curated and cooked by Raymond Blanc OBE and Luke Selby. Together, Raymond and Luke have redefined Le Manoir’s classic dishes with a fresh, creative outlook while maintaining the restaurant and country house status as one of the very best in Europe. After dinner, retire to one of the 32 bedrooms and suites, each lovingly designed by Monsieur Blanc and inspired by his travels.

Outside, guests can borrow Le Chameau boots and explore the gardens which include a vegetable and herb plot that feeds the kitchen for much of the year, as well as a Japanese Tea Garden and heritage orchards of unusual British species of fruit. The Raymond Blanc Gardening School and The Raymond Blanc Cookery School, guided by the values of provenance and sustainability, impart insider tips and expert advice in a relaxed and creative environment.

The prize

Prize includes:

A one-night stay for two people in a deluxe room at Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons.
Dinner for two during the stay with wine or non-alcoholic alternative pairing selected by the sommelier.
Continental breakfast the following morning.

The Promoter is Immediate Media Company London Limited (company number 06189487).
The promotion is open to all residents of the UK, including the Channel Islands, aged 18 years or older, except the Promoter’s employees or contractors and anyone connected with the promotion or their direct family members.
The closing date for entries is 23:59 on 16 August.
By entering the promotion, the participants agree:
1. to be bound by these terms and conditions; and
2. that should they win the promotion, their name and likeness may be used by the Promoter for pre-arranged promotional purposes.
Entrants should enter by answering the question and completing the form on the olive website. Entries received after the closing date of the promotion will not be considered.
Entrants must supply to Immediate their full name and email address. The Promoter will use entrants’ personal details in accordance with the Immediate Privacy Policy (https://www.immediate.co.uk/privacy/).
Only one entry will be permitted per person, regardless of method of entry. Bulk entries made by third parties will not be permitted.
One winner will receive a one-night stay at Le Manoir, Oxfordshire for themselves and a guest, sharing a twin or double room. The prize includes dinner for two including wine selected by the sommelier and breakfast for two the following morning. The prize is subject to availability and valid Sunday to Thursday, and must be redeemed before 31st December 2024. Prize cannot be redeemed [excludes bank holidays, 23rd December 2024-27^th December 2024, 30th December 2024]. Prize must be redeemed by 31^st May 2025. Travel to and from Le Manoir is the responsibility of the winner. No additional costs or expenses incurred by the winner or their guest during their stay are included as part of the prize.
The winning entrant will be the first correct entry drawn at random from all the correct entries after the closing date. The Promoter’s decision as to the winner is final and no correspondence relating to the promotion will be entered into. The Promoter may share the details of the winner with the prize provider for the purposes of fulfilling/delivering the prize.
The winner will be notified within 14 days of the close of the promotion by email. If the winner cannot be contacted or fails to respond within 28 days of such notification being sent, the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to a runner up, or to re-offer the prize in any future promotion.
There is no cash alternative and the prize will not be transferable. Prizes must be taken as stated and cannot be deferred. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with one of the same or greater value.
The surname and county of residence of the winner will be available upon request by sending an SAE to Le Manoir Competition, Olive, Vineyard House, 44 Brook Green , London, W6 7BT within two months of the closing date of the promotion. The Promoter will contact the winner before releasing this information and provide the winner the opportunity to object or limit the amount of information shared.
The Promoter reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions or to cancel, alter or amend the promotion at any stage, if deemed necessary in its opinion, or if circumstances arise outside of its control.
The Promoter does not accept any responsibility for lost, delayed or fraudulent entries.
The Promoter excludes liability to the full extent permitted by law for any loss, damage or injury occurring to the participant arising from his or her entry into the promotion or occurring to the winner arising from his or her acceptance of a prize.
