Head chef Marianna Leivaditaki (pictured, below, with Morito owner Sam Clark) has created a one-off menu of seven fish and game dishes paired with classic Morito cocktails such as the negroni, americano, rebujito and Granada gin. With influences ranging from Andalucía to North Africa and the eastern Mediterranean, this is a brilliant opportunity to try an array of Morito’s acclaimed dishes for a fraction of the price.

Marianna grew up in Crete with her Greek fisherman father and Scottish mother running their family seafood restaurant. She started her career as a waitress at Moro in Exmouth Market, eventually working her way up to head chef. After running the kitchen for five years she then went on to become head chef of Morito, Hackney Road, when it launched in 2016.

Listen to episode 91 of the olive magazine podcast here to hear Marianna talking about Cretan cuisine.
