What is dulce de leche?
Dulce de leche is a sweet Latin American condiment made by slowly caramelising sweetened milk until thick and caramel-like in flavour and colour. From cheesecakes to pies and brownies, it’s popular in all kinds of desserts and can be made at home, although it’s most commonly bought ready-made.
