KitchenAid has announced its limited edition Colour of the Year for 2024 and it’s right on trend. This could be the perfect way to give your kitchen a contemporary lift this spring.
This year’s shade is called Blue Salt, an iridescent periwinkle blue colour. The blue has a chrome-style finish which gives a red sheen in certain lights. The effect is an exciting one to add to your kitchen.

Best known for its classic upright designs and features in programmes like The Great British Bake Off, KitchenAid’s tilt-head stand mixers are instantly recognisable to most baking fans. And with the latest colour, you can be the most on-trend host.
Blue Salt is a slight departure from colours of recent years, which have tended to be bright, eye-catching shades like 2023’s Hibiscus – a vivid fuchsia. But it looks like soft blue tones will be big in 2024, especially in the kitchen, with Le Creuset also launching its new colour, Chambray, last week.
