Celeste says, "The Dalgona coffee became the TikTok craze of 2020. It is a very easy recipe that uses equal parts of instant coffee, (try my favourite instant coffee here) sugar, hot water and milk.

The coffee and sugar are mixed with hot water to form an intensely flavoured but aerated whipped coffee that can form in a peak. Your drink could be hot, but using iced milk seems to work better because you can also see a distinct layer between the milk and the whipped coffee. Sometimes you may see it referred to as “whipped coffee, “frothy coffee” or “fluffy coffee”.

Using an electric whisk or egg beater, or even milk wizz will save you time. The sugar in the mixture is what gives it its stiffness. I have tried using a little less sugar, but the mixture won’t be as stiff. So keep that in mind if you want to decrease the sugar.

If your coffee is nice and stiff you can add it to your milk in a swirling motion to get a nice ice-cream peak.
