Try our freezer martini, then discover our espresso martini, French martini, lychee martini or beetroot vodka martini.

You can play around with the ratios of gin to vermouth but it’s best to have a higher proportion of spirit so the martini doesn’t freeze or become slushy. Adjusting your freezer temperature can also help with the latter.


Freezer martini recipe

  • 500ml gin or vodka
  • 100ml dry vermouth
  • 125ml water
  • few dashes of orange bitters
  • lemon twist or green olive
    to garnish

    Method

    • step 1

      Pour the gin or vodka, dry vermouth, water and orange bitters in a 750ml flip-top bottle or mason jar. Put in the freezer for a few hours until well chilled.

    • step 2

      To serve, pour into frozen martini glasses and garnish with a lemon twist or green olive.
