You’ll need a blender that can cope with crushing ice for this recipe.

What is in a strawberry daiquiri?

This popular fruity version of a classic daiquiri is based on a simple combination of rum, lime juice and puréed strawberries. We've omitted sugar but you can also add 1-2 tbsp of a syrup if you wish to sweeten the cocktail.

  • 400g strawberries
    hulled and halved plus 4 to decorate the glasses
  • 150ml white rum
  • 4 tbsp lime juice
  • 2 mugfuls ice cubes

    Method

    • step 1

      Put all the ingredients in a powerful blender that can process ice and blend until smooth. Pour into 4 daiquiri or similar glasses and decorate with strawberry slices.
