Mezcal mule recipe

  • a couple of teaspoons of chilli salt
    (we used Mexican brand Tajin)
  • lime wedge
  • 50ml mezcal
  • 25ml lime juice
  • top with ginger beer
    to serve
  • lime wedges
    for garnish

    Method

    • step 1

      Scatter a couple of teaspoons of chilli salt onto a saucer.

    • step 2

      Run a lime wedge around the rim of a highball glass and dip the glass into the chilli salt.

    • step 3

      Stir 50ml mezcal and 25ml of lime juice (use more if you want a zestier drink as the ginger beer will be very sweet) with plenty of ice in the glass, top with ginger beer and serve. Garnish with lime wedges.
