This pineapple smoothie recipe is written by our health editor and nutritionist, Tracey Raye. She says, "Pineapples are a great source of bromelain, a natural enzyme that helps to aid in the digestion and absorption of food. While pineapple is well tolerated by most, for those sensitive to acidic foods, pure pineapple could aggravate reflux. For this reason, I've added banana to the smoothie which soothes the stomach and helps to neutralise stomach acid. If you do struggle with pineapple, start with slightly more banana and slowly build-up."
