Give a classic manhattan a wintry twist with pedro ximénez sherry, which adds fragrant raisin notes to the drink. We've also add dry vermouth, which is not typical but balances out the sweetness of the sherry.

  • 50ml bourbon or rye whisky
  • 15ml pedro ximénez sherry
  • 10ml dry vermouth
  • a few dashes Angostura bitters
  • to garnish orange peel

    Method

    • step 1

      Put the whisky, sherry, vermouth and bitters into a cocktail shaker filled with ice and stir well. Strain into a coupe glass and garnish with the orange peel.
