What is a daiquiri?

Originally from Cuba, the daquiri is most popularly associated with the writer Ernest Hemingway, who discovered the cocktail while living on the island during the 1940s and 50s (he preferred, according to legend, a boozier, drier take on the recipe). A classic three-ingredient daquiri – lime juice, rum and sugar – is hard to beat but here we've added tart raspberries for those who prefer a less punchy, more fruity take on the cocktail.
