Ingredients
- 500ml water
- 3 slices ginger
- 3 slices turmeric
- 2 cardamon pods, squashed
- 3 cloves
- a pinch fennel seeds
- optional almond milk
- optional honey
Method
- STEP 1
Put the water in a pan. Add the ginger, turmeric, squashed cardamom pods, cloves and a pinch of fennel seeds.
- STEP 2
Simmer for 5 minutes then strain into mugs and drink as it is or add almond milk and honey, if you like.
