Pretzels
Challenge yourself with this classic pretzel recipe. This, delicious, moreish, snack is sprinkled with rock salt. You and your loved ones won't be able to get enough of them.
Bring a large pot of salted water to the boil. Tear off 25-30g pieces of dough and roll them into 15 small balls, then put onto a lined baking tray.
Heat the oven to 220C/200C fan/gas 7. Add the bicarb and sugar to the water, and whisk to dissolve. Dunk five of the dough balls into the water and cook for 1 min, then remove and put on the lined baking tray. Repeat with the remaining dough balls.
Use a pastry brush to paint each with a little oil, then sprinkle each with a pinch of sea salt flakes. Bake for 18-20 mins or until golden and risen. Serve with dips of your choice.
