- 250g strawberrieshulled and quartered
- 1 tbsp caster sugar
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- 300ml semi-skimmed milkchilled
- 2 scoops vanilla ice cream

Method
step 1
Toss together the strawberries, sugar and vanilla in a bowl and leave to macerate at room temperature for 30 minutes, tossing now and again.
step 2
Put the milk and ice cream into a blender, along with the strawberries and any syrupy juices. Whizz until completely smooth, then serve in chilled glasses with a topping of squirty cream.
