Discover how to make spiralized fries, then check out our veggie-loaded fries, perfect chips, classic potato wedges and sweet potato wedges.

  • 2 large floury potatoes
  • for frying oil
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ¼ tsp oregano
  • ¼ tsp garlic salt
  • a good pinch chill flakes
  • ¼ tsp sea salt

    Method

    • step 1

      Spiralize the potatoes and pat dry with kitchen paper. Toss with a few good pinches of the spice mix.

    • step 2

      Heat the oil in a large pan no more than 1/3 full. When temperature reaches 180C (or when a piece of white bread tuns golden in 30 seconds) carefully lower in the fries.

    • step 3

      Fry for 3-4 minutes until crisp and golden. Drain on kitchen paper then sprinkle over a little more spice mix to serve.
