Smoked mackerel caesar salad
This is an upgraded classic that's perfect for summer with smoked mackerel and crispy onions. The caesar dressing also works well with chicken salads, new potatoes or salmon
Put the capers, lemon zest and juice, chilli, garlic and oil in a large bowl, season well and stir.
Cook the pasta until tender, then drain and tip into the bowl, giving everything a good toss together.
Break up the mackerel into chunks, discarding the skin and any bones. Add to the bowl with the dill and gently toss everything together. Serve in bowls with extra dill, if you like.
