  • 100g butter (any kind)
  • 4 tbsp runny honey
  • 75g mixed seeds
  • 75g dried cherries
    chopped
  • 75g whole almonds
    roughly chopped
  • 200g rolled oats
  • 75g dark chocolate chips
  • 40g Rice Krispies

Method

  • step 1

    Heat the oven to 180C/fan 160C/gas 4 and line a 20cm x 30cm baking tin with baking paper. Melt the butter and honey in a small pan. Put all the remaining ingredients in a bowl then pour over the butter and honey. Mix really well, then tip into the baking tin and use the back of a spoon to compress the mixture. Bake for 20 minutes until just browning at the edges, then cool completely.

    Lift the granola from tin using the baking paper, then cut into 10 bars to serve.
