
Chicken sesame noodles

Forget the take-away on a Saturday night, this chicken noodle dish is super quick and much more healthy. The sesame seeds add a great crunch and flavour to the dish

- 100g egg noodles
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 chicken breastcut into thin strips
- 1 onionsliced
- 1 clove garlicfinely chopped
- 150g beansprouts
- 2 tbsp dark soy sauce

Method
step 1
Cook the noodles according to pack instructions. Drain, return to the pan and stir through 1 tbsp sesame oil and leave covered to one side.
step 2
In a large pan or wok, stir-fry the chicken in the remaining oil over a high heat until starting to brown. Add the onion and garlic and continue cooking for a few more minutes.
step 3
Add in the beansprouts, a splash of water and the soy sauce. Stir through the noodles and mix, cooking for a couple more minutes then serve.
