- 200g steak mince
- ½ small oniongrated
- chopped to make 2 tbsp cornichons or gherkins
- 4 slices emmenthal cheese
- to serve lettuce
- to serve sliced tomato
- 2 crusty bunshalved and lightly toasted
ranch dressing
- 2 tbsp mayo
- 2 tbsp yoghurt
- ½ tbsp of chopped dill
- ½ tbsp of finely chopped onion
- ½ clove garliccrushed
- ½ tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp lemon juice

Method
step 1
Mix all the ranch dressing ingredients together and season.
step 2
Put the mince, onion and pickles in a bowl. Season really well then mix and form into 2 burgers. Oil and season both sides then cook for 2-3 minutes each side in a hot pan or griddle until cooked through. Top with the cheese and cover with a lid until it melts.

Spread some dressing on the base of each bun. Top with lettuce, tomatoes then the burgers. Spoon over more dressing, put on the tops and serve.
