Try this steak salad with chive buttermilk dressing, then check out our classic steak salad.

  • 300g lean sirloin steak
    fat trimmed
  • olive oil
  • 1 lime
    zested
  • 100ml buttermilk
  • 1 tsp cider vinegar
  • chopped to make 1 tbsp chives
  • 1 romaine lettuce
    leaves torn
  • 1 bunch radishes
    sliced

Method

  • step 1

    Heat a griddle pan to very hot. Rub the steaks with a little oil and cook for two minutes on each side for medium. Season and rest while you make the salad.

  • step 2

    Whisk the lime zest, buttermilk, vinegar, chives and season.

  • step 3

    Toss the lettuce and radishes and divide between two plates. Slice the steak and add to the salad, serve with the dressing.
