Gammon and cauliflower cheese grills

- 4 raw gammon steaks
- 1 cauliflowerbroken in to florets
- 1 tbsp wholegrain mustard
- 100ml half-fat crème fraiche
- 50g cheddar cheesegrated
Method

Heat the grill to high. Snip the sides of the raw gammon steaks with kitchen scissors so they don’t curl up too much when they cook. Put the gammon onto a baking tray, then grill on one side for about 10 minutes until the fat is crisp. Flip it over and cook on the other side for another 10 minutes.

Meanwhile, cook the florets from 1 large cauliflower in boiling water until tender. Drain and tip into a bowl with wholegrain mustard, half-fat crème fraîche and grated cheddar cheese and toss. Spoon the cauliflower mix over the gammon, sprinkle with a small handful of grated cheddar, then grill for 5 minutes until bubbling and golden.
