Ingredients
- 100ml cider vinegar
- 2 tbsp golden caster sugar
- 1 dried red chilli, crumbled
- 1 large pear, peeled and cut into thin slices
- 100g stilton
- 20g butter, softened
- 1 tbsp (optional) port
- 2 large or 4 small slices Bread, toasted
Method
- STEP 1
Bring the vinegar, sugar and chilli to a boil, bubble for 1 minute. Pour over the pear slices and cool. Mash the stilton with the butter and port. Spread on the toast and grill until browned. Serve with the pears.
