  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1 tbsp dried thyme
  • 1 tbsp sumac
  • 2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp dried oregano

    Method

    • step 1

      Put the sesame seeds into a small frying pan and toast until golden. Tip into a small bowl and, once cool, mix with the remaining ingredients and store in an airtight jar.

    Kept in a small airtight jar, these spice blends will last for 2 months.
