Craft56 Scottish gin club review
Explore the world of Scottish gin with a Craft56 gin club subscription – read on for our full review
Craft56 showcases the best artisan spirits producers across Scotland, with a vast range of Scottish gins, whiskies and rums all available in its online shop. Even Scottish tequila is available, along with mixers, garnishes and gift sets. The Craft56 Scottish gin club curates small-batch gins from distilleries across Scotland and delivers direct to you every month.
There are three subscription lengths on offer from the gin club: monthly (£40), bi monthly or quarterly. The first month's delivery includes a branded gin glass.
Each month, gin club subscribers will receive a full 70cl bottle of gin from a Scottish distillery, along with mixers, tasting notes and serving suggestions. We receive a medley of gins and mixers from brands previously included in the subscription for a taste of what to expect. We enjoy the striking design of the Lind & Lime bottle, produced in the Port of Leith distillery. The full-flavoured Glaswegin (in another uniquely designed bottle), infused with orange flower and pink peppercorns, becomes a new favourite. The quirky Scottish tonic waters highlight the flavours of the gin and showcase lesser-known producers – a great way to mix up your standard G&T.
While this may be one of the higher-end subscriptions, the full-size bottle of top-quality gin makes this good value for money, especially with the extra mixers and expert notes.
