Craft Gin Club review

The delivery comes in a large branded cardboard box with the gins securely packaged inside. Each month follows a different surprise theme. Our box transports us to summer holidays with its Provence theme, containing an exclusive 70cl bottle of QVT Dry Gin Édition CGC, distilled in Provence and infused with lavender and rose petals. We were impressed by the exclusively designed gin with a great story behind it, and the striking pale pink bottle stands on your bar cart. Alongside the gin came a variety of gourmet French-inspired snacks, including a madeleine, Joe & Seph’s camembert popcorn and snail-flavoured crisps. The snack selection feels high-quality and substantial, with a balance of sweet and savoury options alongside interesting (and generously sized) mixers, syrups and garnishes. The box also contains Craft Gin Club’s own magazine, entirely dedicated to exploring the contents of the box. It includes plenty of cocktail ideas, bakes and interviews. There’s an online gift shop to buy full-sized versions of the samples, should you particularly fall for any, and a lively community on social media.

The box feels like real treat to open, with enough goodies inside to spread your tastings out over a few days – a gift that keeps on giving! There are flexible subscription options – with so much in the box, even a bi-monthly subscription would feel generous and give you plenty to work through. Membership can be cancelled at any time.

At £42 a box, this feels extremely good value for the amount it contains, especially considering the bespoke products, and would make a great gift – perhaps even to yourself.
