Rebellious Goods is a natural wine and craft beer/cider specialist with online offerings including individual bottles, various boxes of three wines from the same maker, and a no-frills monthly subscription service.
For the wine subscription box, choose from monthly changing options of three bottles for £60 or six bottles for £120, with free same-day (London) or next-day (rest of UK) delivery for orders over £60.
Rebellious Goods imports many of its wines directly from the makers so expect exclusive bottles not found elsewhere. Our favourites in the box both came from Germany – Voyage Voyage, a bright and crunchy pinot noir made with wild yeasts and bottled unfiltered by Leiner; and a really zingy double-fermented cider made with three apple varieties by Klaar in Hamburg – but the others we received also created lively discussion around the dinner table. Brief details of the wines are sent by email to save on paper inserts, and the packaging is all recyclable.
The Rebellious Goods subscription is one for those who want groovy drinks just for the pleasure without getting bogged down in details of how they’re made or where they come from. Having said that, expect your interest to be piqued.
